Verses on God’s command to love

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all they strength: this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  There is none other commandment greater than these.”  Mark 12:30-31.

“A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”John 13:34-35.

“This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.”John 15:12.

“And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.  And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.  Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but regoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.  Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away; For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;  But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.” 1 Cor. 2-10.“And we have known and believed the love that God hat to us.  God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in god, and God in Him.”  1 John 4:16.

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”  1 John 4:8.

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, an with all thy strength; this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself.  There is none other commandment greater than these.”  Mark 12:30, 31.

“Thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself.”  Rom 13:9.

“For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”  Gal. 5:14.
