Prayer for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

“Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the precious gift of my body.  Sometimes it takes being in pain to actually be thankful for the years of good health bestowed to us.  Thank you for the many years I have lived pain-free.

Today is a different day.  I have been in pain recently, and the symptoms are only getting worse with time.  I value my health and my body as I depend on them.  They both are crucial for me.

I am committing to not putting taking care of my physical body off any longer.  I will do everything in my power to take care of my carpal tunnel condition.  I will go to the doctor and listen to what he/she advises.  I will watch my sugar intake as diabetes is associated with this disorder.

I will also try my best to get proper sleep, massage my own hands( and learn about the muscles that are being inflamed and irritated) and to stay away from eating things that will only make my conditions worse. I will not expect God to work miracles if I do not apply wisdom to my situation and circumstance.

In the name of Jesus’ I bind the demonic powers that might be at war with my physical body.  Lord, send healing and release the numbness and tingling sensations in my fingers. Please take away the swelling, irritation and inflamation and help me to remember to ice it when I need to. Allow my hands to get the proper circulation they need just to function as you designed them to.

Help me to see when I am doing a repetitive activity that will further aggravate my symptoms, to stop and change my pattern of movement slightly and consistently.  This will be a relief to my hands.

I plead the blood of Jesus over my body.  Lord, please cover me so I will never have to suffer from arthritis and it’s symptoms.

When I am in pain, I will remember to find a way to praise you and thank you.  This will not be easy, but it will be warfare against the enemy who is trying to discourage me with this painful and distracting condition.

I will not give into depression, despondency, dependency, complacency, moodiness, anger or rage from this condition.  I bind those demonic forces to the spirit of blalak. Lord please show me the attitudes I need to have for healing to take place in my mind, and to be felt through my wrists.

Thank you, Lord for your good plan for me.  I know that I am in good hands when I trust you.  Even when I feel bad, I will remember all the times you have come through for me in the past and it will make this temporary condition easier to deal with.

In Jesus’ name, I accept healing and blessing and I chose to be a blessing to others through all of it, Amen.”
