Prayer for Back Pain

“Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you that we were made in your image. _____________ is suffering from a back injury.  The disks in his/her back don’t have the proper cushioning and the nerves are being pinched.  Lord, this affects everything that _______________ does.  It is affecting _______________’s walking, sitting and enjoyment of life.

_________________ does not take simple mobility lightly.  _____________ knows this is a gift from you.  You have given ________________ many good years in his/her body, Lord.  I pray that you will give ______________ many more.

Please give ______________ the wisdom in how to take care of himself/herself, show __________ his/her part in the solution to this, and take care of the stuff that _________________ could never do.  Show _________________ doctors who care about the health of ____________________.

As you take away________________’s physical pain, let the memory of this pain never leave him/her so________________can be a positive witness to the testimony of your grace and complete healing and restoration.  You are real,__________ knows it and may all that know his/her testimony hear and know it: Our God is a good God.  You are a mighty God.  Jehovah Rappha, you are the God that heals—lay your hands on _______________’s back and work a miracle.

In Jesus’ precious name, all for the glory of you, Lord.  Amen.”
