Prayer for a miracle birth after a miscarriage

“Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the joy of family.  This is a gift from you.  We rejoice that you fashioned us in your image, and have put a deep-rooted desire to build one.

Lord, you know the pain that _____________ has experienced.  The child they lost is now safely in heaven awaiting to join them again.  The pain from the temporary separation of this family created by you can only be healed through you.  Lord, in the name of Jesus, cover this unbearable loss.  Take the pain away, and restore this family to complete wellness.

______________& __________ has so much love to give, the both desire to try to fulfill your command to “be fruitful and multiply.”  Lord, they want to obey you.  They desire to have a family that is centered around you.  You said in your word that you would not withhold any good thing for your children.  What could be better than the honor or rearing a family that fears the Lord?  In Jesus’ name, please supply___________ with all their needs.

In Jesus name, work a miracle in the body of _________________. Restore all of her organs and systems to fully support and nurture a healthy baby from conception to birth, with no complications.  Lord, we are going by faith and not by what the doctors say. Do the impossible.  Work a miracle.

When this baby is born despite the odds, may the doctors, nurses and all who have witnessed it fall down on their knees (in the privacy of their homes) and submit to the glory of the only God who could cause such a miracle to happen.  You. Bring many into your kingdom through this experience of your miracle.

Lord, through the pain of loss, comes the complete joy of restoration and appreciation for the little things we might have taken for granted.

Thank you for your miracle in the family.  We glorify your name.  In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.”
