Prayer for a dying loved one

‎”Dear Heavenly Father,

You could not love ______________ any more. His family cares and loves him so much, but you created him.

Lord, you said in your word that the prayer of the faith will heal the sick. Lord, _________________’s heart is sick. It is sick with death and decay because he cannot see the light of you. In the name of Jesus, light the eyes of _____________’s heart to see (what we know) is THE truth. Let him see you.

Lord, bind the demonic forces of pride. Give _____________ the strength to be humble and to turn his heart to you. Lord, open his eyes to see the love of God so intense around his whole family, that he chooses not to be separated from them or YOU for eternity.

In the name of Jesus remove all mountains of doubt and fear in every family member’s heart. Build their trust in you. Years of prayer and have been layed as a foundation for this very moment of deliverance. Expose ______________’s hopeless condition and the plight of his eternity to himself. Show him he needs you more than he needs that spirit of stubborn pride.  Pride will not lead him to the gates of heaven.  His submission to you and the cross will.

We cover that household with the blood of Jesus. No soul will enter eternity unless you allow it Lord. Please hear our cries. This man must not pass through to the other side until he has seen his sin, repented of his sin and turned his heart toward your loving grace.  Send your holy angels to escort this man away from the demonic hands that are trying to hold him down.

The victory is yours. We celebrate your love and your deliverance of _______________. We will not doubt. We will not fear. We give this battle to you. It is done, sealed in your blood. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.”
