“Dear Heavenly Father,

_____________has gone through so much, yet here he is today sticking by his/her wife’s/husbands side. 

Lord, you know the pain he is going through, the wounds and the hurts that this man/woman is experiencing.

Lord, give him/her the strength to rely on you. Give ___________ the wisdom to read your word. Give ____________ the supernatural understanding of it so he/she can apply it to his/her life in every crisis situation.

Lord, cover this house with the blood of Jesus; help him/her to love even when it hurts as that is your instruction. Reward him/her with the strength and stamina to do it with a happy heart because the Joy of the Lord is our strength.

In the meantime, show him/her the lessons that are weaved through this hard time. Open ___________eyes to see how this pain can make him a better marriage partner and parent with more empathy and passion to fight for what really matters.

You gave _____________this family, and what God has brought together let no man (or demonic force) take away or apart.

Lord, if there is anything/sin that is allowing this kind of spiritual upset in his home, I ask that you reveal it to _____________ and give him/her the strength to let go of any attitudes or behaviors that you lay on ____________’s heart, as he/she does this allow the Glory light of you to heal all wounds, cover them in the blood of Jesus and restore him.

In the name of Jesus, restore this family for your honor, your glory and your kingdom. May they look back on these days as a testimony to your saving grace. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.”
