Prayer for Mental illness

“Dear Heavenly Father,

Your touch is needed in this situation.  We need a divine intervention and a miracle of your healing. _________ is at his/her breaking point as the enemy has taken advantage of his/her dire situation.  Lord, you know all that is going on.  You know all of __________’s needs, chemical, emotional…everything.  You said in your Word that you would supply all our needs according to your riches in glory.  Lord, ________’s needs are nothing for you to handle.

I pray that he/she will supernaturally learn all that he/she has needed to learn from this, and Lord, remover him/her from this right now.  In Jesus name, restore his/her marriage and protect his/her child from all the pain that _________’s suffering has caused.

I plead your blood over that whole household that nothing the enemy wants to harm will be touched.  Our faith can move mountains and in the name of Jesus we remove the mountain of deceit, the mountain of suicide, the mountain of chemical dependence, the mountain of emotional pain, the mountain of insecurity and self-loathing in Jesus’ name.

_______________is a child of the most high designed by the Almighty for a great work.  This was not your plan.  This is the enemy’s ploy to take him/her off the map of the mighty work that he/she has been called to do.  Lord, do not let this happen.  Allow this child to see the visions you have for him/her.  Restore his/her mind to think clearly.  In the name of Jesus, may she only hear the voice of you and none other in Jesus name, we trust in YOU, Amen.”

*Fast from all television and radio.  Listen to praise music and the Bible on CD. (Put it on the lowest level when going to sleep at night.)   Speak the Word of God out loud. Listen to it everyday even when you are too weak to read. Your medicine is the Word, and the WORLD is your poison right now.  Saturate all yourr cells with the Word.

Prayer should never be a substitute for receiving medical attention.  If you, or someone you love is experiencing suicidal thoughts or harmful tendencies towards themselves or other individuals, please help them contact a qualified physician in addition to praying for them. www.shalombewithyou.com does not assume any responsibility for any personal decisions or choices made by it’s readers.
